About the Role

Your Impact as a Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse in the Transfer Center, you will act as a critical link between physicians, hospitals, and care teams—ensuring patients are placed in the right level of care at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient transfers and determine appropriate levels of care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists
  • Serve as a liaison between referring providers and receiving facilities
  • Monitor patient status and communicate updates to clinical teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and quality improvement
  • Build strong relationships with referral sources and healthcare partners

This role is essential in improving patient flow, outcomes, and overall healthcare efficiency.

Work Schedule & Location

  • Location: Remote (must reside within 1 hour of Nashville, TN)
  • Schedule: Day Shift (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM)
  • Job Type: PRN (as needed flexibility)
  • Salary Range: $35.88 – $50.65 per hour

Qualifications & Requirements

What You’ll Need

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
  • Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • 3+ years of bedside nursing experience
  • 2+ years in ICU, Emergency Department (ED), or critical care nursing
  • Leadership or charge nurse experience
