As a Registered Nurse in London, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for residents at Wandsworth Common Care Home. You’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that prioritizes respect, dignity, and exceptional care.

In this role, you will act as the person in charge when required, supporting the Home Manager and ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are consistently delivered.

You will take responsibility for leading care delivery, supervising staff, and ensuring residents receive safe, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and perform clinical procedures including dressings, catheterisation, and tube feeding
  • Monitor and manage residents with chronic health conditions
  • Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals, including GPs
  • Supervise and guide care staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Conduct accurate patient assessments and develop personalized care plans
  • Maintain high standards of nursing care in line with UK healthcare regulations

Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this Registered Nurse job in the UK, you should:

  • Hold a First Level Nursing Qualification
  • Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Have at least 2 years of nursing experience
  • Possess up-to-date clinical knowledge and relevant post-basic qualifications
  • Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills
  • Have a solid understanding of care planning and its practical application
