Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Practice
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care using a patient-centered approach
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across various healthcare settings
- Promote health, prevent illness, and support recovery
Professional Practice & Compliance
- Adhere to nursing standards set by regulatory bodies and professional codes of ethics
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Collaboration & Communication
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Build strong relationships with patients, families, and community partners
- Communicate effectively to support continuity of care
Quality Improvement & Leadership
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes
- Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and sound clinical judgment
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
- Nursing degree or diploma from a recognized institution
- Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses or Psychiatric Nurses (Manitoba)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle (if required)
