About the Role: Registered Nurse – Mental Health Services
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across a range of mental health programs. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based patient care aligned with best clinical practices
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals
- Ensure patient safety and clinical quality standards are consistently met
- Supervise and guide Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
- Support recovery pathways including rehabilitation and end-of-life care

Qualifications & Skills Required
To be successful in this Registered Nurse role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong commitment to quality patient care and safety standards
- Knowledge of ACQSHC National Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Basic computer literacy for clinical documentation
