About Fairwinds Care Home
Fairwinds is a specialist care service supporting adults living with complex mental health conditions and high-acuity needs. The home features two small, well-supported units, including one dedicated to female residents.
With strong staffing levels and a collaborative team environment, you’ll have the time and support to deliver care that truly makes an impact.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering holistic, evidence-based nursing care while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, offering both clinical responsibility and leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Exceptional Nursing Care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans
- Provide person-centred, evidence-based nursing care
- Promote health, wellbeing, and independence
Clinical & Medication Management
- Safely administer and monitor medications
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and best practices
Lead and Support Your Team
- Act as Nurse in Charge during shifts
- Support, mentor, and guide care staff
- Handle challenging behaviours with professionalism and empathy
Promote Dignity and Respect
- Encourage choice, independence, and inclusion
- Build strong relationships with residents and colleagues
- Uphold the highest standards of compassionate care
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a nurse who shares our values and is committed to delivering outstanding care.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)
- Valid NMC PIN
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS
