About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team on a casual basis. In this role, you will work closely with doctors and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-focused care.

You will be responsible for supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey—from assessment and treatment to education and follow-up care—ensuring a positive and professional experience at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history
  • Administer immunisations and medications
  • Perform triage and wound care management
  • Support chronic disease management and care plans
  • Perform ECGs and assist with clinical procedures
  • Provide patient education, reassurance, and follow-up guidance
  • Assist with telehealth consultations
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and health records
  • Manage treatment room operations, including stock control and sterilisation
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards
  • Support reception and general practice operations when required

About You

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and delivers high-quality patient care.

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience in an accredited General Practice (GP) setting (preferred)
  • Strong clinical knowledge across a range of conditions and treatments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with Best Practice software (preferred)

Mandatory Compliance

  • Current Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Immunisation record
  • Valid photo ID or driver’s licence

Work Schedule & Availability

  • Casual role: 8–20 hours per week
  • Regular shifts:
    • Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Every second Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Availability required: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Flexibility to cover leave on weekdays
