About the Role

Flexible Registered Nurse Opportunities

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Enliven Bureau team on a casual basis, supporting Chalmers Home in New Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care in a rest home and hospital-level setting
  • Support residents with complex health needs through holistic care planning
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Lead and guide healthcare assistants with confidence
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards
  • Adapt to varying shifts, including AM, PM, and night duty

About You

The Ideal Registered Nurse Candidate

You are a dedicated Registered Nurse who combines clinical expertise with empathy and professionalism.

Essential Requirements

  • Current NZ Registered Nurse with a valid Annual Practising Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in nursing (preferably in aged care or complex care settings)
  • Strong leadership skills to support healthcare assistants
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to respond to short-notice shifts
  • Based within commuting distance of New Plymouth

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with InterRAI assessments (training provided)
  • Background in community nursing or long-term care
