This part-time Endoscopy Nurse position is based at the Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre in Devizes. You will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality endoscopy services within a supportive and professional clinical environment.

  • Location: Devizes, UK
  • Salary: £37,043.16 per year (pro rata)
  • Contract: Fixed Term (12 months)
  • Hours: 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Deliver High-Quality Endoscopy Care

Provide safe and effective care throughout all stages of endoscopy procedures, ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and clinical excellence.

Clinical Competence & Patient Safety

Demonstrate expertise in endoscopy techniques and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of infection control and safety for patients, staff, and visitors.

Support Clinical Leadership

Assist the Lead Nurse and Senior Endoscopy Nurse in implementing care protocols and improving service delivery within the department.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a fast-track, patient-focused service, ensuring smooth coordination of care.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to maintaining a cohesive and high-performing team while supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (Level 1)
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Essential Experience

  • Post-registration nursing experience
  • Strong understanding of clinical care standards and patient safety

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in endoscopy procedures and techniques
  • Skills in IV drug administration, venepuncture, and cannulation
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
