About the Role: Clinical Nurse (Campus Healthcare)

As a Clinical Nurse, you will deliver high-quality primary health care services within a dynamic university setting. This role combines clinical excellence with health education, allowing you to make a meaningful difference every day.

Working alongside experienced healthcare professionals, you’ll provide both immediate care and long-term health support to a diverse population.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Patient-Centered Care

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and provide treatment for illness and injury
  • Respond promptly to emergency first aid situations on campus
  • Support visiting doctors and allied health professionals in ongoing patient care

Support Campus Health Services

  • Assist in daily operations of the Health and Medical Service
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records
  • Ensure medical supplies and equipment are well-managed

Promote Health & Wellbeing

  • Deliver health education programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns
  • Provide guidance on health issues relevant to students and staff
  • Build strong referral networks both on and off campus

Maintain Professional Standards

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and university policies
  • Uphold ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional conduct
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a compassionate and proactive Clinical Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Registration as a General Nurse with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Proven experience in primary care nursing or similar clinical settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage emergencies and prioritize patient care effectively
  • Commitment to health promotion and patient education

  • Total Package: Up to AUD $128,110 including 17% superannuation
  • Employment Type: Part-time (60%), continuing role
