Role Overview: Clinical Nurse Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services across campus. You’ll support students, staff, and visitors through both routine care and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and provide primary care
- Deliver treatment for illness, injury, and urgent medical needs
- Support emergency first aid responses across campus
- Collaborate with doctors and allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and reports
- Ensure compliance with RACGP standards and healthcare regulations
- Build and strengthen health referral networks
- Promote health awareness through workshops, seminars, and campaigns
- Support student services in managing health-related concerns

Salary, Benefits & Work Structure
- Position Type: Part-time (60%), ongoing
- Location: Nathan Campus (with flexibility across campuses)
- Salary Range:
- Base Salary: $101,068 – $109,496 (FTE)
- Total Package: $118,249 – $128,110 (including 17% superannuation)
- Pro-rata salary based on part-time hours

To succeed as a Clinical Nurse, you should meet the following criteria:
Essential Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with AHPRA
- Up-to-date vaccinations (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, pertussis, hepatitis B)
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Experience in clinical nursing practice and healthcare settings
