About Company
Access to culturally safe healthcare is essential for thriving communities. Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is an independent Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service dedicated to improving health outcomes for Yolŋu people and remote Aboriginal communities across East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory.
Since its establishment in 1992, Miwatj Health has worked alongside local communities to deliver comprehensive, culturally responsive healthcare and public health programs. Today, the organisation supports more than 8,500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents, providing vital services across remote regions where healthcare access is often limited.
