About the Role: Registered Nurse – Mental Health Services

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across a range of mental health programs. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver evidence-based patient care aligned with best clinical practices
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals
  • Ensure patient safety and clinical quality standards are consistently met
  • Supervise and guide Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
  • Support recovery pathways including rehabilitation and end-of-life care

Qualifications & Skills Required

To be successful in this Registered Nurse role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong commitment to quality patient care and safety standards
  • Knowledge of ACQSHC National Standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Basic computer literacy for clinical documentation
