About the Role: Registered Nurse – Medical Imaging

This Registered Nurse position is a permanent part-time role (32 hours per fortnight) within the Medical Imaging department. It’s ideal for nurses who want to diversify their clinical experience while working in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide compassionate patient care and reassurance during imaging procedures
  • Perform intravenous cannulation with precision and confidence
  • Assist in the safe administration of IV contrast for CT scans
  • Monitor patients closely and respond to contrast reactions or complications
  • Adhere to strict clinical safety protocols and medical imaging standards

This position combines hands-on clinical care with critical thinking, making it ideal for nurses passionate about patient safety and diagnostic support services.

Qualifications & Skills Required

To be considered for this Registered Nurse role, you should have:

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Completed intravenous cannulation training
  • Strong understanding of clinical safety and patient monitoring

Desirable Skills

  • ALS (Advanced Life Support) certification
  • Anaphylaxis management training
  • Experience in medical imaging or radiology nursing (preferred but not essential)
