Registered Nurse Responsibilities & Daily Impact

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical nursing care in an acute medical ward
  • Advocate for patients and support informed decision-making
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond proactively to changes
  • Collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals, and care teams
  • Mentor Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and students
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical and professional practice

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $74,317 – $104,336 per year
  • Superannuation: 12%
  • Salary Packaging: Up to $11,600 + novated leasing options
