Role Overview: Clinical Nurse Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services across campus. You’ll support students, staff, and visitors through both routine care and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and provide primary care
  • Deliver treatment for illness, injury, and urgent medical needs
  • Support emergency first aid responses across campus

Salary, Benefits & Work Structure

  • Position Type: Part-time (60%), ongoing
  • Location: Nathan Campus (with flexibility across campuses)
  • Salary Range:
    • Base Salary: $101,068 – $109,496 (FTE)
    • Total Package: $118,249 – $128,110 (including 17% superannuation)
    • Pro-rata salary based on part-time hours

To succeed as a Clinical Nurse, you should meet the following criteria:

Essential Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse with AHPRA
  • Up-to-date vaccinations (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, pertussis, hepatitis B)
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
  • Experience in clinical nursing practice and healthcare settings
