We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse to become part of our established Acute Stroke and Older Adult Medicine team. As a Registered Nurse within this specialist unit, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality acute care and rehabilitation support to patients recovering from stroke or managing age-related medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in an acute clinical setting
- Support patients through recovery, rehabilitation, and ongoing care
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Monitor patient progress and respond to clinical needs effectively
- Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking nurses who are:
- Registered with a valid NMC PIN
- Passionate about stroke care and elderly medicine
- Strong communicators with excellent organisational skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care
Experience
- Previous experience in stroke care or acute medicine is desirable
- However, full in-house training will be provided
- Newly qualified nurses (including 2025 graduates) are encouraged to apply
Working Pattern
This role includes rotational shifts, covering both:
- Day shifts
- Night shifts
This ensures continuous, high-quality care for patients across the service.

Additional Information for Candidates
- From 1 April 2026, the full-time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours, with pay remaining unaffected
