About the Role: Nurse Surgical Acute

As a Nurse Surgical Acute, you will care for patients admitted from multiple service lines, including cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, surgical services, and emergency care. This role offers a dynamic learning environment where no two shifts are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on care for 4–6 patients per shift.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, change dressings, and maintain accurate charting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social work, physical and occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging.
• Support patient-first care with keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Arizona RN license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Professional certification in your specialty area.
• Minimum one year of recent acute care experience.
