Exciting Career Opportunity in District Nursing – Angus
An excellent opportunity has arisen within the District Nursing Service in Angus for a qualified and experienced nurse to take on a leadership role. This position is ideal for candidates holding a Specialist Practitioner Qualification in Community Nursing (Home) or a Diploma in District Nursing, looking to lead and inspire teams across the North Locality.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams within Angus, contributing to a seamless and integrated care service. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves rotating shifts and working across various bases to ensure 24/7 service delivery, seven days a week. The final base location will be confirmed after the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a caseload and skill-mix team within the community setting
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care aligned with strategic healthcare goals
- Collaborate with teams across Angus to support the Angus Health & Social Care Partnership Strategic Plan
- Drive service improvements by supporting the development of new care models and pathways
- Maintain strong working relationships through effective communication and teamwork
