About the Role
As a District Nurse at Benalla Health, you will provide expert nursing care to allocated clients within the community. This role focuses on delivering holistic, patient-centred care while working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective support.
Your responsibilities will include advocating for clients, providing health education, promoting preventative care, and supporting individuals to achieve their health goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional community nursing care to clients in their homes
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and care planning
- Provide health education and support to improve client wellbeing
- Advocate for clients and support their health goals
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Coordinate care services to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes
