Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our LPN II, you will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the Registered Nurse to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient, assisting with the nursing process to promote optimal health and well-being.

Every day you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services as assigned, demonstrating accountability for the quality of your own nursing practice and adhering to our organizational mission and core values.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Licensed Practical Nurse with strong clinical support skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a commitment to high-quality patient care, actively contributing to the nursing process in a collaborative environment.

  • Performs accurate observation & data collection.
  • Uses critical thinking to implement the plan of care.
  • Differentiates priority of risk & urgency.
  • Appropriate communication of patient findings to the RN.
  • Performs IV therapy or venous blood draws.
  • Continuously evaluates and assists team in revisions of the plan of care.

Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Basic Life Support American Heart
  • IV Therapy; State IV Certification upon hire or within three (3) months of hire/transfer

Preferred

  • Two (2) years of recent LPN experience
